I'm Shannon!

I am 35 years old and a native of Maryland's Eastern Shore. A full-time mother of a beautiful, energetic little 9 year old, Adriana Claire who is my BIGGEST supporter & inspiration.

I was born and raised in a small town, and grew up on a chicken farm on one of the area's many backroads. I’m known for my bubbly outgoing personality along with my endless obsession with all things sentimental and traditional.


I am not the photographer who was always carrying around a camera as a child. For me, photography just happened; not as a hobby, nor as a way to just get out of the house. As a new mom becoming increasingly busy in the day to day of child rearing, it came as a way to find myself!


Self-taught, everything I know about photography is an expansive culmination of 8 years of trial and error, reading manuals, books, a ton of how-to articles, online photography groups, and advice from local photographers. I've devoted countless weekends to sitting in front of my computer watching free online webinars and going to workshops to hone my growing skillset. I can not wait to put that knowledge to the test for you.

California is the furthest I've gone for a Wedding so far; my goal this year is to book a destination wedding by the end of 2025!
